Lab member, Hiba, receives Early Award for undergraduate research!

Big congratulations to Hiba Ahmed who recently received the Early Award. The Fred and Marguerite Early Undergraduate Research Award is funded by an endowed fund established by the former regent of the University. The goal is to promote and rewards outstanding undergraduate research in Biology and Chemistry. Hiba will be using this funding to conduct research with Dr. K in Summer 2025 on restoration seed sourcing practices in preparation for submitting a manuscript to the journal Restoration Ecology.
